Now you can enter the serial number of your firearm and be directed to the correct schematic for it as well as order parts through our partners Brownells, Inc. and Midwest Gun Works. Additionally, you can see the approximate date of manufacture as well as being able to view/download an owners manual, choke tube information (where applicable and available) and product literature relevant to your firearm when we have the information available. We have recently added barrel information as well.
Please enter the serial number of your firearm below and click search. This application only works for firearms imported and distributed by Beretta USA Corp. and is updated on a regular basis.
For the search to work, please enter your serial number in all UPPERCASE letters and numbers with no spaces between the characters. Be certain to not confuse numeric and alphabetic characters, such as O's for zeros or we will be unable to locate your serial number. Only enter the serial number and no additional information. Do not insert spaces between any character in your serial number. For example: use BER431605 and not BER 431605.
If there is a 'Y' at the end of your serial number, please omit this character when entering your serial number.
Thanks for choosing Beretta!

Important Resources:
George Madis -- For dates of manufacture and some of the most detailed information on Winchester, be sure to include the George Madis Website in your research. Madis was a true friend of Winchester through many years and was considered one of the World's most knowledgeable resources on Winchester firearms. Although many in the current generation have not been exposed to his research, for the rest of us he will always be 'Mr. Winchester.' Books and other information are available on his site: www.GeorgeMadis.com. You can contact them by email at: [email protected] and [email protected]. His family continues the great legacy he began.
Buffalo Bill Historic Center / Cody Museum -- This is probably the only place in the world that contains significant original information on historic Winchester rifles and shotguns. The Cody Museum has resources for doing original research and even provides certification letters on Winchester firearms (for a fee). They also offer some specific serial number information derived directly from original records. Click here for a list of records.
PLEASE NOTE: The Cody Firearms Museum staff is able to respond to general questions regarding firearms and firearm-related issues beyond the scope of the Records Office on a limited and complimentary basis. Contact Curatorial Assistant Daniel Brumley at 307.578.4117 or [email protected]. Response times to such inquiries vary with the workload of the curatorial staff. The staff is unable to respond to gunsmithing, highly technological, or hand-loading inquiries. If you are looking for specific information on your Winchester, visit Firearms Records or contact the Records Office at [email protected].

COMMEMORATIVE AND LIMITED ISSUE MODELS
Unique serial number sequences were established for special edition and commemorative Model 37 and Model 87 guns. Much of the data presented for the Model 37 guns came from microfilm copies of Ithaca shipping records on file at the National Tracing Offices of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and from microfiche copies of invoices from the 1980 era that were found at the Ithaca factory. The Model 87 data came from the serial number records of the Ithaca Acquisition Corporation.
